The first in our new series: The Top 10 Objections to Christianity! Today we think about the following questions: Does belief in God require blind faith? Has science made God unnecessary? Is there real evidence that God exists? If God does not exist, nothing else really matters. But if He does… everything changes.

Some see Jesus as hard and demanding — a King to fear, not to love. But in Luke 19 we meet a very different King. As Jesus rides into Jerusalem, He shows both power and compassion. He’s fully in control, yet weeping over those who will reject Him. This King uses His authority not to take from us, but to give His life for us. Today we’ll see that Jesus, our loving King, is worthy of our praise — the King who goes to the cross for our salvation and calls us to trust Him with every detail of our lives.

We’re great at focus—just ask our phones, jobs, or hobbies. But here’s the real question: what are we focused on? Today we’re in Luke 9, where Jesus “set his face” toward the cross. He didn’t treat saving us like a side project—and if he gave everything for us, following him can’t be just a hobby. Come discover what following Jesus really means.

What new risks, conversations, and ministries is God calling us to embrace as a church? Are we ready to give Him the credit, pray big prayers, and follow wherever the Shepherd leads next?

Stay the course. Jesus, our High Priest, has opened the way, so let’s run to the finish with confidence and faith. How are you drawing near to God with a sincere heart this week, and what’s holding you back from living boldly? Are we spurring one another on and meeting together as Hebrews urges, or have we settled for comfort and coasting? The warning is real: don’t trample grace by drifting away, but instead press on: what does true confidence look like for us as a church?

We may not see the battle, but the spiritual fight is real. Ephesians 6 warns us of a fierce battle against unseen forces—angels and demons—and the good news is that, through Christ, we already know who wins. This afternoon, we’ll explore how to stand firm, know our enemy, and rely on God’s strength to fight the battle we’re in.

What if your future inheritance depended on a will — not just for your earthly possessions, but for your eternal life? Hebrews shows us that Christ’s death is the ultimate “will,” securing, completing, and perfecting our salvation. Today we’ll see how the new covenant guarantees that what Christ began for us is finished and unshakable.
