Romans 1:16-18 are the verses which many say the whole rest of Romans then unpacks. Romans 1:17, in particular, is often known as Martin Luther’s verse, one upon which much of the reformation focussed. Yet when we break down the elements of it and study the verse can we really explain what it means?
What is the righteousness of God? And how then can it be the power fo God for salvation?
What does from faith for faith mean?
And do we live by faith or do we have life because of our faith?
