What this man’s actions shows us is that without God man is never content. Without God man is very much alone. If every person has a God shaped vacuum in their lives then the rich fool is attempting to fill it with things and sadly he will leave those things behind. This rich fool planned well for this life but he totally ignored the fact that he would die and had no thought to the life that was to come.
