What at first might seem like a controversy over Jesus healing on the Sabbath is actually revealed to be more about Jesus claim to divinity, making himself equal with God.  Jesus chooses to heal one man among many.  A man it seems who not only does not know who Jesus is, but rather than seek to thank him, tries to turn him into the Jewish authorities. We are once again led to consider if we will accept and believe that Jesus is the Christ.
