Guess Who’s Coming to Lunch?
This is a church wide fellowship event happening after the morning service on the 20th August. All church family members of all ages are warmly invited and encouraged to participate in this event.
How does it work? Using this form you are asked to sign up as either a host or guest to have lunch with some fellow members of your church family. It will be a surprise until the day before as to where you will be having lunch and you won’t know until you arrive who else you may be having lunch with!
It is our prayer that this event will offer you – our church family – the opportunity to spend time in fellowship with each other in small groups. Please consider opening up your home to spend time with people you may not normally have the opportunity to! If you are unable to host please take this chance to be a guest in someone’s home and get to know them better.
After the morning church service we will make our way to each other’s homes to have lunch together. Please aim to be at your host’s place by 12pm.
To make this day a success we will need hosts! Lunch does not need to be fancy, keep it simple! A pot of soup and bread rolls, salad sandwiches or oven pizzas are a few examples. You can also choose how many people you would like to host. As a HOST, the number of guests you will be hosting will be sent to you the week before, along with any special considerations.
If you are a GUEST, the address where you will be having lunch will be sent to you the day before (please keep it a secret until you arrive at your host’s place!). Please ensure you have your own transport arranged for the day.
Please sign up for this event by 13th August so hosting allocations can be finalised.
Any questions? Please take a look at the form to see if they are answered there. Otherwise, speak to Nicola!
