Romans 1:1 – 7 Set apart for the Gospel?

It is interesting how you assess someone. How do assess a person you meet, perhaps on holidays or at work and they claim to be a Christian. You might hear them say that they go to church but really you are after a little bit more information. You really want them to say something about their faith, about what Jesus Christ means to them, about their understanding of the Bible. That is what gives you confidence in them as a Christian and as a fellow believer. Paul, who didn’t establish the church in Rome, is laying before them his credentials, his heart, the focus of his life, so that they would support receive him and support him.
