Jesus flight to Egypt indicates how the forces of evil are determined to strike at the Messiah, the one who is the seed of the woman who will crush the head of Satan. Already from birth, Jesus life is in danger and ultimately Satan will see Jesus’ crucified and yet it is only a pyrrhic victory.
