We consider objection 7 –”A loving God wouldn’t send people to Hell’. There is a lot in that statement. Does Hell exist? Does God send people there? If he does (he does!) does that mean that he isn’t loving? Join us as we seek to answer these questions through Jesus’ words in Matthew 25.

Was Jesus just a man?  Many people think so!  But what does the evidence say? We explore one of history’s biggest questions: Who is Jesus?  And why does the answer to that question change everything?

A few years ago, there was a TV ad that asked the question: “Have you done enough for a Mallowpuff?” Have you earned the privilege of eating a bit of Griffin’s goodness? And the answer was yes! But when it comes to eternal life, some people ask the same question: Have I done enough? Does my good outweigh my bad? If the answer is yes, then why bother with Christianity? What does it mean to be good? Join us as we unpack these questions, and see that what really matters is not our standard, but God’s Standard.

Stories of rank hypocrisy always leave us feeling somewhere between upset and ragingly angry. It depends a little on how close to the hypocrisy we are and its impact on people we love. But what about when it surfaces in the church? Is this common enough to legitimately dismiss the whole church as a bunch of hypocrites? Is it right for people to avoid Jesus because of hypocrisy in his church? Thankfully Jesus has something to say to both hypocrites and those impacted by hypocrisy.

People say, “All roads lead to heaven,” and it sounds generous… until you realise some of those roads flatly disagree with each other. In John 14 Jesus doesn’t shrug and offer to be one spiritual path among many; he looks his friends in the eye and says, “I am the way, the truth and the life.” This Sunday night we’re going to poke at the idea that “it doesn’t really matter what you believe” and ask whether that’s kind, or just comfortable. We’ll also see why Jesus being the only way isn’t bad news for the world, but very, very good news for people like us. John 14:6  “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” (John 14:6 NIV)

Tonight we continue our topical series on the Top 10 Objections to Christianity. We look at the objection: “Christianity Is Irrelevant.”

Is there real evidence that God exists? If God does not exist, nothing else really matters. But if He does… everything changes.
