Our Beliefs

We believe the Bible is our ultimate authority, Jesus Christ is our only mediator, and salvation is found through faith in Him alone. As a community, we strive to love one another and encourage each other in faith, good works, and witness to the world.

We call ourselves “Reformed” because we trace our roots to the 16th-century Reformation, a time when God used faithful leaders to recover vital truths of the gospel that had been lost or distorted. We believe those same truths remain just as precious and relevant today, guiding how we worship, live, and serve.

As a Reformed church, we hold to key creeds and confessions that faithfully reflect the teachings of Scripture. These include the historic Ecumenical Creeds (the Apostles’ Creed, Nicene Creed, and Athanasian Creed), as well as the Reformed confessions such as the Belgic Confession, Heidelberg Catechism, Canons of Dort, and the Westminster Confession. You can find these in our church’s Book of Forms.

We are part of the Christian Reformed Churches of Australia and joyfully stand with believers across history and the world in proclaiming the gospel of grace.
